Conference-Cum-Meditation Retreat on Meditation Retreat -
There will be a meditation retreat in the morning, wherein participating delegates will have an opportunity to discover their original spiritual identity and establish a link with the Supreme soul to enable them to gain strength to practice values in their daily individual, family, and professional lives.
Rajyoga Meditation is an open-eyed technique that can be used by anyone, anywhere. Whether you want to learn how to relax, need to concentrate more and be creative or are searching for personal enlightenment, practicing Rajyoga can satisfy each of those needs.

Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, the organizer of the conference, has been working for the last 86 years, imparting spiritual knowledge and teaching Rajyoga Meditation. This work is presently being carried on through more than 10,000 centers spread in 140 countries spanning the five continents. The institution has consultative status as an NGO with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and with UNICEF of the United Nations. The Scientists, Engineers and Architects (SEA) Wing of Rajyoga Education a Research Foundation, the co-organizer of this program, among other activities, is engaged in educating the scientific and technical personnel to make their work more self-fulfilling and reflective of the needs of the
society. It motivates them to work on the preservation of the environment and betterment of the quality of life and it also undertakes scientific research on Rajyoga, consciousness, and other aspects of metaphysics. More than one thousand members of the SEA wing are actively involved in these activities, through seminars, conferences, exhibitions, Environmental Et Disaster awareness campaigns, etc, so that the gulf between science and spirituality can be bridged and the social evils prevailing in the society can be eradicated.
Conference on Coping With Uncertainties
In this world, there are so many apprehensions about our future, the environment, and population, the financial and political situation, the distribution of resources, etc. One has to pick up a newspaper only to realize the world is in a horrendous state. When markets recede and news of recession dominates the evening news, millions go into depression, when credit crisis creates hue and cry in the global economic meltdown, millions of Job cuts every now and then, creates insecurity among masses, IPCC report when alarms about a dooming future for the only living planet, Mumbai mayhem when triggers panic among anybody or everybody, certainly uncertainty has become a clear certainty.
Drastic Times Call for Drastic Changes -
There is an old Chinese saying," May you live in interesting times." It is considered both a curse and a blessing depending upon how one looks at it and consequently what course of action one adopts. Thus situations do not disturb us but our perception of situations does. Adversity is a fine instructor if one does not forget the painful lessons learned when better times eventually roll around again. Mounting stress, rotting careers, recurring unpleasant episodes, lingering fatigue and depression, failing relationships, accidents, and all kinds of diseases ranging from recurring colds to full-blown third stage cancer are some of the serious consequences if one fails to cope with the challenges of uncertainty. Basically, the change in scenario is mostly external (a different job, a new way of doing things, or a change in relationship), while the transition is internal (a psychological reorientation that people have to go through before the change can work)," writes William Bridges in his book, "Managing Transitions." Therefore, if I need to cope with uncertainty, I need to have a deep realization — that the problem is not actually the world outside of the people I am with. If I spend a few moments in honest reflection I realize that whatever is going on inside of me is the root of my response to uncertainty. I need to understand that in the period of history, the civilization that is passing through now is a particularly dark one. But it cannot last forever. The condition of the world is horrific but it will change, even worst shall pass away. After the darkness the light will come; night has to turn into day. This will happen with the passage of time; I cannot force the day to come, I cannot force the pace of it. So I need to learn to be a detached observer. One can draw an analogy here: an actor plays a role on stage and is totally involved in all that is going on. Someone in the audience is aware of everything on the stage also but has a different state of consciousness. One has to learn to be both in this game of life, to be an actor and an observer to be able to step aside and look at things from a distance. Thus spiritual wisdom empowers us to have an understanding of the missing dimension of life to successfully combat the challenges of uncertainty.
The present seminar intends to focus on these aspects through exploring spiritual wisdom, experiencing the power of silence, and empowering the real self. The organizers are proud to be associated with successfully organizing similar types of programs over the last four and a half decades where professionals belonging to different organizations, industries, professional bodies, academic institutions, etc have benefitted immensely. There are no registration fees, but prior registration is essential for arrangements.
How it will benefit?
On attending the programme, the participants will be able to:
• learn coping skills to face uncertainty.
• learn practical wisdom to lead a happy life by rest and respite from the "busyness" of business to happiness.
• integrate "doing" life with "being" life by learning meditation techniques.
• convert problems into challenges.
• experience the power of silence by reflecting upon one`s innate
• gather experiences in dealing with uncertainty in different dimensions of life.
Who should attend?
Managers, Organisation leaders, HRD professionals, Scientific community, Business heads, and related professionals who are inquisitive to enhance the quality of life through the application of our ancient wisdom and practical meditation.
