Program Brief
1️⃣On 24th November 2023, a meditative lifestyle <br/>programme on "Spirituality an Experience Based <br/>Practice" was organized by the Indira Gandhi <br/>Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) Patna <br/>and the Spiritual Applications Research Centre <br/>(SpARC), a research wing of Prajapita Brahma <br/>Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya.<br/> IGIMS Patna <br/>was attended by more than 100 doctors from all <br/>the departments of IGIMS Patna.<br/><br/><br/><br/>The programme was mentored by <br/>Rajyogi BK <br/>Shrikant Bhaiji, National coordinator ,<br/> SpARC Wing.<br/> He explained that while science <br/>and medicine rely on experiments and evidence <br/>to validate their theories and practices, <br/>spirituality <br/>relies on personal experience and inner <br/>transformation to verify its principles and values. <br/> harmony and cooperation with <br/>others. <br/><br/>2️⃣ A research study titled ‘Role of Meditation <br/>in Breast Cancer Survivors’<br/><br/>💫Study design: Role of mindfulness based intervention in inflammatory parameters in breast Cancer Survivors in eastern India:a Randomised controlled trial is currently being <br/>conducted by the Dof Anaesthesia ,<br/>All India Institute of Medical <br/>Sciences (AIIMS) Patna and Spiritual Applications <br/>Research Centre (SpARC), a research wing of <br/>Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariy<br/><br/>3️⃣SpARC Wing’s Local Chapter Inauguration at Brahma Kumaris, Patna<br/>The SpARC wing<br/> inaugurated the local chapter in Patna, on 26th November 2023.<br/> The event was <br/>held at the Brahma Kumaris centre in Kankarbagh, Patna, and was attended by several dignitaries <br/>and guests.<br/>The program was inaugurated with candle lighting in the presence of BK Shrikant Bhai (National <br/>coordinator of SpARC), BK Sanjay Bhai (headquarter-coordinator of SpARC), <br/>Rajyogini BK Sangeeta <br/>Didiji, BK Ravindra Bhaiji, and BK Dr. Kirti Behn. They enlightened the audience with their inspiring <br/>speeches on the vision and mission of SpARC.<br/>The chief guest of the event was Dr. Veena Singh, Professor of Plastic Surgery at AIIMS Patna. <br/>Dr Singh appreciated the efforts of SpARC in promoting the integration of science and spirituality for <br/>the welfare of humanity. She also shared her insights on the role of meditation and positive thinking <br/>in healing and wellness.
