Under the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav se Swarnim Bharat ki Aur" main theme, the `Shipping Aviation and Tourism Wing` has launched a unique project “Meri Sanskriti, Meri Pehchaan”, to preserve the age-old tradition of India. Under this project, on the occasion of `National Handloom Day`, Brahma Kumaris, Gangtok has organized a traditional dress show particularly displaying an ethnic dress of different culture of Sikkim. The traditional walk was done by BK students of East District, Gangtok.
