On 01.03, 86th Mahashivratri was celebrated at Brahma Kumaris, Shanti Kund,Development Area with full of joy and happiness. <br/>Chief guest of the program was Dr. Passang D. Phemphu, Secretary, Ecclesiastical Department, Government of Sikkim.<br/>Guest of honour was Nell B.Chettri, Mayor of Gangtok Municipal Corporation. <br/>Program started with flag hoisting ceremony at the lawn of Centre were pledge was taken to always remain happy and never hurt others. <br/>During the program Brahma Kumari Sonam, briefly explained about the importance of Mahashivratri .<br/>Both Chief Guest and Guest of honour shared their experiences. <br/>Other important guest were also present like - <br/>Mrs. Tshering Palden Bhutia, Deputy Mayor, GMC.<br/>Mrs. Pema Lhamu Lamtha, Councillor, Tathangchen ward. <br/>Mrs. Kalawati Subba, former Minister,<br/>Mr. G.S Lama Retd. Chief Engineer, <br/>Mr Shekhar Pandey, ex-councilor,<br/>Mr. M.B.
