Kalp Taruh Inaugural Ceremony ON 12 JUNE 2022<br/><br/>Brahma Kumaris Kingsway Camp, Delhi organised the Inaugural Ceremony of Kalp Taruh project on Sunday, 12th June, 2022. The day started with the regular Murli Class, which was conducted by BK Krishna Didi ji, Center In charge, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi. Afterwards, the Inauguration Ceremony commenced with BK Tara Didi sharing the meaning and significance of the word ‘Kalp Taruh’.<br/><br/>The ceremony was conducted in the divine presence of BK Krishna Didiji, Center In charge, Shalimar Bagh, along with other Chief Guests - BK Sadhna Didi ji, Center Incharge, Kingsway Camp, Shri. Ajay Budhiraja ji, President, RWA Federation, Outram Lines, Dr. Sanjeev Anand ji, Kidney Transplant Specialist, Intermountain Medical Center, USA, Shri Rajeev Saumitra ji, Director Paramount Coaching Center Pvt. Ltd, Mukherjee Nagar and BK Prakash Gupta ji, Trustee, Hari Mandir, Outram Lines. The Chief Guests were welcomed with tilak, badge and flower garlands. Many other RWA vice presidents, secretaries, and members also graced the occasion with their presence.<br/><br/>Sister BK Shikha, a music teacher, composed and sang a melodious song (Aao karein Paudha Ropan, Band ho Dharti ka Shoshan) on Casio, dedicated to the Kalp Taruh project. Kumari Suhana and Kumari Alisha performed a dance on the song Ek diya baati hazaron raushni, giving the message that our small acts of service can make a huge impact on nature and environment.<br/><br/>BK Sadhna Didiji briefed the attendees about how the Kalp Taruh initiative started, and its major objective – to plant 40 lakh saplings in India between 5th June to 25th August, 2022. BK Krishna Didi ji graced everyone with her blessings. She encouraged everyone to awaken and cooperate with one another and nature to spread the vibrations of peace and love in this world. <br/><br/>Shri Ajay Budhiraja ji spoke on the relevance of taking charge of our own actions and not waiting for others to take the initiative of protecting and nurturing the plants and trees around us. <br/><br/>Dr. Sanjeev Anand ji shared some wonderful facts about the medicinal values of trees in the lives of human beings, and urged everyone to preserve nature for the future generations. <br/><br/>Shri Rajeev Saumitra ji congratulated Brahma Kumaris for being the only spiritual organisation to organise an afforestation campaign across the country. He also shared with the attendees some facts on how trees and plants influence the thoughts of human souls, and also the other elements of nature like rivers and clouds. BK Prakash Gupta Bhai ji gave his greetings and well wishes for the Kalp Taruh initiative, encouraging everyone to nurture plants and trees like a small child, with love and positive vibrations.<br/><br/>This was followed by candle lighting, meditation and planting of Neem saplings in pots by the Chief Guests.<br/>The attendees of the event also participated in the oath taking ceremony and took 6 pledges for kindness and compassion.<br/>The event concluded with the distribution of Tulsi Saplings and toli amongst all guests and brothers and sisters present in the programme.
