Program Brief
On June 5th, 2022, Brahmakumaris Raja Park, Jaipur, celebrated its 50th Environment Day. Under the campaign "Kindness and Compassion by Spiritual Empowerment", the project "Kalpataru" was inaugurated on this day. At this event, Jaipur Sub Zone Incharge BK Poonam Didi, Jaipur Nagar Nigam Mayor Mr. Manish Gujjar, Mangalam Group Chairman Mr. NK Gupta, Parshad Mrs. Swati Parnami, and Parshad Mr. Bhupendra Meena were present as chief guests. <br/><br/>BK. Poonam Didi said that saving water and planting trees is a virtuous deed. Plants understand our emotions and if they are nurtured with positive vibrations, then they will grow greenly and prosperously. God gave us a peaceful and pleasant environment, but now it is polluted due to negative thoughts. Thus, we have to lighten up our spiritual positive thoughts in order to create a clean and pleasant environment again. <br/><br/>The programme ended with candle lighting and tree planting by the chief guests. Basil seeds were distributed among the people. The main objective of the programme is to plant 40,000 trees between 5 June 2022 to 25 August 2022 for the betterment of the environment.
