Under the main theme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a program was organized by Brahma Kumaris, Shanti Jyoti Bhawan, Nilachal Nagar, Brahmapur on the International Nurses Day, to felicitate Doctors and nurses of Brahmapur. Dr. Prakash Ch. Patra, Physician and Diabetologist, and Sister Purnima Nayak, Nursing Superintendent attended as Chief guests. At this event, Dr. Prakash Ch. Patra, in his speech, inspired all the nursing faculty and motivated them to work better. Sister Purnima Nayak gave hearty tributes to Florence Nightingale by lighting candles. BK Prashansa, Rajyoga Teacher, Brahmapur explained the need, value, and importance of Rajyoga Meditation in the present situation and conducted guided meditation. During this program, BK Prashansa felicitated Sis. Purnima Nayak and Sis. Shefali Das, retired nursing faculty with a shawl, bouquet, and Godly gift. Nearly 40 nursing officers were also felicitated with bouquets and the Godly gifts of Shiv baba on this occasion. The program ended with the remembrance of Supreme Surgeon God Shiva and prasad was distributed to all the guests and participants.
